From our adjustable rate mortgaged house.
No forward address, no
3-month security deposit
no average Joe the american bailout
As the stock market just crashed
6 & a half
years to the day Joe refinanced .
His non-union job
downsized him to the position of
a hula hoop dance vs. quitn
where theres no more retirement or benefits
just the benefit of non gain full employment.
As the result the children grow unaware, & hungry
nestled 6 to each bed.
Dreaming of video games, Face book names & basic cable
While the reality of a derogatory credit score
whos going to lease to me, co sign for me, or even loan to me ?
Danced inside mom & dads head
This stay at home mom in her work clothes
Knowing the deputy sheriff would be in his cap
With paper work to serve & day laborers to do everything but observe
Just to put us out on our backs
like our Property to be set on the Hedged front lawn,
Snowy day Rainy Day - Garbage day it wont matter
AND dont be hurting miss some tithes @ church
And Not consistent enough is the
word, message, sermon. But never the Chatter
Yet Over by the window
Dads phone lights up with a flash
Its a bill collector @ 9:01 am wanting 350 dollars (not billion)
Or its its going to hurt his credit real bad.

not so lively but This Nick was quick to rub u the wrong way
he joked If this was Israel

Nick pointed back @ 8 reasons out of his pocket he does pay
He didnt even say no just Step Aside or Go to jail!
Either way everthing gets out today!
Nick was quick to grab the door and held it open
To his endeared he implored

On Foreclosures On credit defaults
U 2 Start in the basement
Now Repos Now Refinanced
Leave nothing in the kitchen but the sink.
Oh & Consumer confidence you stay here distribute the bags and boxes
We still got 16 more houses to go on this street.
And then in a twinkling our ears heard proof
Bagging, dragging and evacuating everything under the roof .
bundles of our belongings covered
the snow covered lawn
from front to back
not neatly or discreetly or like those of
AIG execs
Bankruptcy While blinking his eyes
The drill made a dance with his hands
As they removed all the what knots and locks
Thats when we started feeling the gloomy dread
This Nick spoke very few kind words
He swore an oath to go straight to his work
Repossessing American dream type Possessions
Like an uncaring jerk!
But I heard him explain
As they drove just out of sight
Ill be 10 years or so retired The Big 3 will have machines building cars
That they cant fire.
Theyll be living in Pod communities as refugees of the economy
Before their credit ratings
Will ever see the day of light!
Their hiring @ Wal-Mart
