An Italian Rum cake was the cake of choice by Frances Ford Coppola to celebrate both his 65th birthday and the opening of his new winery called Rutherford. This masterpiece which was handpainted and made by his favorite bakery in North Beach of San Francisco, was large enough to feed 3000 people and required 6 men to carry it and an 18 ft. truck to transport it.
