Get A FREE IPOD TOUCH *****SCAM****
Or is it? More like a pain in the ass.
After all of that registering and giving out credit card info for something I don't even want or need... only to find out it's a waste of time anyway.
There's several sites out there that promise a free iphone, ipod, wii, computer, cash what have you. all you have to do is complete a bunch of offers and/or refer a bunch of friends to do the same (sounds like a ponzi scheme/ pyramid strategy).
The site you go to is making a commission off of the sponsors as an affiliate marketer. They then use a small portion of their income to give away a free product to you.
People who go for this are already in the mindset of trying to get something for nothing, but it's really not the case - you have to take a lot of time and hoop jumping to get the item you want and in many cases, you aren't interested in the sponsor's offers so you need to cancel them as well and make sure you aren't getting billed. Apparently, enough people stick with a sponsor or two to make this program pay for itself, but it seems like a lot of trouble.
stamps.com requires you to remain a member during the trial for at least 21 days to count. You also have to download their software and use their service to qualify. Most importantly, the Software ONLY works on PCs, not MAC OSX... Sux - - - more hoop jumping for shit you don't want, need or use.
If you use a mac, this is a WASTE OF TIME!!!!
Try http://www.askhef.com - at least there's some good shit worth checking out that millions of people buy anyway even without the chance for a free gift like an ipod touch.
