Gordon needs to be seen to be in charge of leading the ressucitation of the banks because he is mostly responsible for this mess - along with Blair and Bush. Try and come out of this looking as if you have done your best - then they won't seek to question how you got in this mess in the first place! What? Maybe some people have short memories but what New Labour have done has brought GB to her knees. Wake up Britain and vote these people out of office before they hands the keys to Putin.
British Taxpayers have been squeezed so hard that the pips are squeaking. TAX AND SPEND. The bloated government departments are unsustainable. The Public Pensions are unsustainable - Borrowing is 129% of debt (including the 'hidden' off sheet debts - PFI's etc. YOU the British Taxpayer are paying 51% of your income thanks to these guys. Now that they have cracked the Golden Egg (You Guys) and frozen the banks - You are now having to bail them out - again.
BIGGEST BAILOUT IN THE WORLD - EVER - HOW DID THE BRITISH TAXPAYER END UP FOOTING THE BILL FOR LABOURS INCOMPETENCE! Way to go Gordon....

Harold also borrowed heavily and had to De-Value the Pound to reduce debt!!(now theres' an idea Gordon!)
In a radio and television broadcast this evening, the Prime Minister said devaluation would enable Britain to " break out from the straitjacket" of BOOM and BUST economics. Now where have we heard those words before?
The British Taxpayer is not in the position to pay this tax bill which Gordon has very kindly put them in because the situation is so grave that it has put the country into its' worst financial position for 60 years - a fact admitted by the puppet Chancellor Alistair Darling. The bills outstanding by this government are now too big for the electorate to pay - something has got to give. Taxpayers' pensions have been shot to pieces by Gordon - but he need not fear for his own - it is paid in full and recession-proofed - by YOU!
