Here is a Touch Screen phone i bought of ebay from Hong Kong. was a cheap price but it took ages to be delivered to me here in Ireland. Just got it the other day and been playing around with it.
It was supposed to be in Black which looked nicer in the photograph on the ebay page but they sent me out this Gold colour one - the sellers didn't even let me know that it was going to be gold, never mind I will have to put up with it.
straight after ordering it and paying by paypal, I though Damn it I never checked to see if it has Bluetooth because I have the earpiece and find it handy. Anyway when it came through I see Bluetooth showing in the menu and I was pretty elated - however the jolly didn't last for long because I clicked on it in the menu and nothing happen it just said switching on and then nothing so it really hasn't got Bluetooth and they didn't put it in the descriptions of specifications so there you go that was my fault for not checking. Thats most probably another reason it was cheap!
It was already unlocked to any network so thats good and the touch screen feature is cool. I got smallish fingers so I can operate it with my fingers or use the supplied stylus.
Crap ringtones supplied but gives you the facility to add your own mp3 as a ringtone. Alas for SMS message tone you have just 10 midi tunes or silent, you cannot add your own mp3 for the SMS text message alert.
Camera is only 1.3megapixels which is quite low these days, no flash or LED and pictures look grainy in low light on the phone haven't seen what they look like downloaded to PC but I would say not that brilliant - however taken in bright daylight they might be OK.
Got a mp3 player that you can also play music in background whilst using other parts of the phone. Got a Video recorder, Measurement converter, diary, alarm. No radio though.
Came supplied with Data Cable, no CD/Software but I think i know on the Internet where to get it and it came with stereo headset/earphones and
charger and 2 Batteries!!. It didn't come with any instructions but its pretty straight forward to use.
One other downside I don't think it has Handsfree speakerphone on it so when you call someone you have to hold phone up to ear you cannot hear them loud on speakerphone.
The sound out of the speaker when a ringtone plays or any music is very good and very loud one of the loudest phones I have ever heard. Its a bit tinny and slightly distorted on full volume but i have heard worse phones even from well known manufacturers phones. Its got Vibration setting on the phone as well.
A couple of games pre-loaded I doubt if more can be downloaded.
It accepts external memory (mini-SD card) and it came with 512mb card with it I have used a 2gb card in it with no problems though.
I shall have a play around with it but I might end up selling it because it has no Bluetooth and speakerphone built in 2 of the most important things I want in a phone really.
Thats my review anyway. There is no audio on the youtube clip by the way just video - I was going to add Blondie's "Call Me" but i could only find it in Midi file and it was cheesy!
Thats all for now if you got any question I will try to answer.
Andy.
