Who Moved My Cheese? Adapting to change

By Diane Cossie

There we were, quietly enjoying life for a few years, self certified mortgages, buy to let opportunities to thousands of new first time landlords, property rising year after year and technology that can bring things to life in ways we never thought were possible.

So all of a sudden, a hush has fallen, houses are not selling, people are watching their electric meters whizz round and the cost of even the most basic of all needs, food, lighting & a roof over our heads is rising and rising.

All of this reminds me of a fantastic book by Spencer Johnson M.D. called Who Moved My Cheese? You see change is inevitable, nothing stays the same and unless you embrace the change and look for new and better opportunities that it brings, you will be like two of the mouse characters in the book who just sat there, waiting for their cheese to come back.

The most amazing thing is that when you start to travel the path into the unknown, you find it filled with so much opportunity your head would burst open with the joy you could find, if only you looked. Amongst all the thoughts of the traditional ways in which we think we live life well, a nice house, a couple of nice holidays and cars and the odd meal out each week you are selling yourself and the treasure of life too short.

Opportunity is EVERYWHERE right now and it all starts with being able to feed your mind with nutritious thoughts that will make you grow and prosper whatever happens when the next news programme begins its never ending tale of woe.

Order a copy today of Who Moved My Cheese, because you do not need a crystal ball or be an economist to predict that someone just moved the cheese we have all been eating for the last 10 years
