Fulham Deaf Football Club BSL News 11/02/06

Hi! Behind me is the pitch of Merton Social FC, who we've just played against in a league match. We started the game badly with poor quality passing, and control of the ball and this resulted in them scoring first. At half time we we're 0-1 down, we had a good half time talk and came out fighting, with better football and passing. We had long periods of attacking with many chances being wasted, and then eventually we won a penalty in which Andrew Drury converted. We then went in search of the extra goal to win the game and seal those three points to help push for survival.

Shyloh scored to put the score at 2-1 from a well-taken header, from a Andrew Drury cross. We continued to attack and look for the third goal. At the end we won 2-1, a very important result and I'm a very happy man with credit to the players for their hard work in fighting back. Its a good day for us. We drew 1-1 disappointingly last week, giving us 1 point, 3 points from today means things are looking positive.
