How Does Lack of Money Affect a Person's Life?
Lack of Self-Intimacy and Self-Exploration - Lack of Self-Worth and Self Acceptance
The way the world is currently set up is based on and around money. If you have it, you can live a comfortable life - if you don't have it, life is spent desperately attempting to make it through to see another day. But the common point found within both categories is that people's lives all over the earth is consumed by the pursuit of money. The majority of the average person's life in this world is centered around working and discovering ways to earn money simply to survive. Half of the human population is living in poverty. Millions on this earth are forced to work full time (at least 38 hours per week) just to have enough money to live. For most, this means that life is so much revolved around money that they do not even have the chance to look deeper into themselves and life in general. Life is so centered around money and survival that there is little time to think of anything else, as this is the very function of the system to keep people busy with serving it and thus putting both it and themselves as a product of the system first. Money is so conditioned into humanity's psyche that it is seen as the most valuable thing existent in this world, which causes many to obsess over meaningless, superficial commodities, such as having a nice car and house, which causes one to live a very shallow existence, missing the point of life and themselves completely. It is not easy to slow down and have a look at your life if you are so consumed by the simple necessity to survive over all else. How are you supposed to learn and explore yourself when you are too busy surviving? How can you have the chance to slow down and reflect upon life when you are so busy working most of your life just to have enough money to pay the bills and put food on the table? What would it mean for the advancement of mankind if you had enough money and thus time to actually be able to see the forest from the trees to actually have a real look at yourself and life in general and see just what is going on here?
With money, survival and fear of loss consuming your life, you have little chance of seeing what you are actually living and doing to yourself. These points of money, survival and fear of loss you will define yourself accordingly, and will thus be seen as what life is all about missing the point of who and what you actually are simply here in the moment of breath. Money is thus placed above all else in this world by humanity, even above life itself. We are more concerned with having a good job, money in the bank, and nice possessions such as a big house and nice car, than we are with knowing ourselves. It is because this is what people are raised and encouraged to be by the parents and systems of this world. Children are put into schools to be molded and shaped to become perfect slaves for the Matrix, rather than encouraged and supported to learn more about himself and who and what he and this world actually is, and his self-expression. Instead of self-expression and intimacy being developed, encouraged and brought forth within the being, we are instead taught to fit into and work for the system, which causes the us to literally lose ourself within useless knowledge and information, concerns for money and the future related to fear of loss and fear of death, plus definitions of self based on and around money. In our world currently, self has completely been abdicated, with money being seen as more valuable. There is an unending desire and lack of fulfillment within us because we have defined ourselves as lacking, though we look to money and buying things to supposedly fulfill us. Self is completely non-existent, because the being is only taught to want and desire money and how to survive in this world. We are encouraged to live out our lives defined as and according to money, the lack thereof, fear of loss, fear of the future, and fear of death. Within all of this is no room for self to be expressed or explored, as our life is so completely consumed by money in all ways. And no one will care or think to explore themselves if they already believe they know who they are, as what the system has told them to be, and as what they define themselves to be according to money.
