The Political Rant received this email from a listener / viewer.

"Finally, proof has materialised that a law that was passed against the motorist has a hidden agenda.

In this case it is mobile phones...... We were told they were being legislated against for safety reasons.

You will recall that the original penalty was £30 (fixed penalty) for using your phone while driving.

This was increased to £60 and 3 penalty points.

In North Wales;

Whilst the penalty was £30 there were 424 people caught and fined

When it doubled there were 3083 caught and fined

Was this because there were more offenders?

NO. The increase in penalty would have detered at least some people - it can only be because the Police made more of an effort to catch offenders.

Did the police make more of an effort because using mobile phones had become more dangerous than the year before?

NO. Using a mobile phone while driving is exactly as dangerous as it was before.

So, what changed? Oh yes, the fine was increased and this can be the only reason the Police caught more people.

Sooooo... it has nothing to do with road safety and everything to do with making money and loading your licence with penalty points.

Daily Post has published the statistics.....

Advice:
Do NOT speed - it only fills the coffers of the NWO.
Do NOT use a Mobile Phone whilst driving - it ONLY fills the coffers of the NWO.
