Basket Katz III

Bookmark and Share
Kittens Jet and Joule play in their basket to the sound of Leningrad, the Russian ska punk pop band. Joule has begun intentionally tipping the basket up to use it as a shield while she bats at Jet. Is this type of play behavior instinctual, or part of cat "culture", ie, learned? The music is from the album, Pulya, meaning "bullet" in Russian. It's the 12th cut, called Kavah-kavah, meaning colloquially, "let's go". I am not sure I have spelled or translated that correctly, and would appreciate comments.
