Bookmark and Share
Drums (I am not sure who makes the actual set, or some of the hardware just because I bought this set used and all the labels were torn off, but If I was to guess, it would be by Olympic, because thats what the snare is):
14X5 Olympic Snare Drum (Evan G1 Coated head, Ludwig Snare resonate, with brand new wires)
10X8 Pearl EX 6 tom tom (Stock Pearl heads) *Added 3 months ago, I paid $119.99
12X8 and 13X9 tom tom (Evan G1 head, Evan G2 resonate)
16X16 Floor tom (Evan G1 head, Aquarian resonate)
22X16 Bass (Stock Gretsch Head with Remo Falam Pad)
*I spend over $100 on new heads which are only about 3 months old
Hardware:
Pulse Double Pedal (it squeaks and is a horrible pedal, but as you can see, it is possible to go fast with) *Added 6 months ago, I paid $99.99
Hi-hat stand, Boom Stand and a Straight Cymbal Stand (although a screw fell out so one of the locks doesnt work, easy fix though)
Sabian Solar Cymbals :
14" Hi-Hats, 16" Crash and 20" Ride *Added 4 months ago, I paid $139.99
This kit comes with everything you need to get playing except for sticks and a drum throne. This is an old, entry level and very used kit, and it shows. However the heads have been played on for only about 3 months and there is no big damage on any of the shells that would hurt the sound. Only the outside of the drums are scratched. There is a plastic looking wrap that the manufacture put on the outside of each shell to give it that dark blue/black look. This plastic has started to stretch out over time and now has bubbles in between the shells and the plastic. This does not affect the sound because it is not part of the actual drum shell, it just looks really weird and is something to note.
The Pearl add on 8" tom, which I added about 3 months ago, has a slightly lighter blue than the rest of the kit where from a distance it is not noticeable, but when up close you will be able to see the different shades.
The cymbals I purchased separately and have been played on for about 4 months. There is no damage other than stick marks on the cymbals.
The double bass pedal squeaks and is an entry level pedal. One of the batter pads fell off so I had to put it back on using duct tape. It DOES affect the sound a bit, but it's nothing you would notice unless you are listening for it.
I am the second owner of this kit, and it has been though a lot. I have played with this kit in live shows at local bars and it held its own, but as I grew past the entry level drummer era, I was always looking for more and decided instead of keep buying things for this kit, I would save some money for a new kit. I love this kit and if it was possible to have two kits, I would keep it, but I just cant afford it, hence my reason for selling it.
Any further questions please feel free to send me a message. Happy Bidding!
