nader is up to 10% in michigan
Zogby International released a poll 3/16/08.It showed McCain 45, Clinton 39, Nader 6%,And it showed McCain 44, Clinton 39,and Nader 5%."Nader's presence in the race can potentially turn a lulu of a race into an absolute tizzy," said pollster John Zogby. "The messages to Democrats are clear - number one, Nader may win enough support to get into the general election debates. Number two, what could be at risk is support among several key constituencies that the Democratic Party candidate will need to win in November, notably younger voters, independents, and progressives."Our view on this is simple:
Nader/Gonzalez are on one end of the political spectrum, Clinton/Obama/McCain are on the other.Five or six percent is our floor. We're movin' on up to challenge the corporate Democrats and corporate Republicans in the general election. On single payer, war in the Middle East, union busting, nuclear power, solar energy and a host of other issues that matter to the American people, Nader/Gonzalez are on one side of the political fence, Clinton/Obama/McCain are on the other.
Come September, we want to see Ralph Nader debating with McCain and Clinton or Obama.
Let's have a full blown debate about why Clinton/Obama/McCain reject Canadian style single payer national health insurance, about why Clinton/Obama/McCain would take cutting the bloated, wasteful military budget off the table, about war in the Middle East, from the fertile crescent to the Straits of Hormuz. But right now, we're focusing on putting Nader/Gonzalez on the ballot all across the country. Our focus this week is Arizona. Our petition gathers in Arizona need to collect 40,000 signatures by June 4, 2008.That's going to cost an estimated $50,000.Since Friday, we have raised $6,300 from 82 of you. We're 12% of the way home. We're looking for 430 of you to donate $100 each. That will put us over the top.Want to hear Ralph debate McCain and Clinton or Obama in September?
Donate now.Help fuel this campaign for single payer health insurance, a solar energy future, and peace in the Middle East.Thank you again for your kind and generous support.Again, five or six percent is the floor. We're movin' on up.
Nader/Gonzalez are on one side of the political fence.Obama/Clinton/McCain are on the other side. So, now you have a choice. If you are feeling alienated, abused, and misused by the two corporate parties, declare your independence by joining the Nader/Gonazalez peace train. We're planning on making a bold statement this year against the corporate takeover of our democracy.
******IF YOU WANT NOTHING TO DO WITH OBAMA/CLINTON/MCCAIN, GIVE NOW TO NADER/GONZALEZ.***************
Remember - you can keep giving to Nader/Gonzalez until you have contributed the maximum permitted under federal law - $2,300 per person.
Contribute early and contribute often.
And then check out Ralph Nader and Jon Stewart tomorrow night.
ONWARD,SPREAD THE WORD, VOLUNTEER, CONTRIBUTE. LETS MAKE SURE ITS RON PAUL AND RALPH NADER IN NOVEMBER
