How do you guys keep your bills as low as possible?
Ha ha to the answer above. Well, we group cable/internet/home phone together for a better deal, keep the house at like 68 in wintertime & 72-74 in summer. We buy a lot of stuff in bulk, saving money. I cook from scratch, and believe me that saves more money than anything else! We don't eat out a lot in cooler weather, but in the summertime I hate to turn the oven on. Also we have ceiling fans in almost every room to help with heating/cooling. We have 2 cars, and depending on where we have to go, we try to take the car that gets better gas mileage out. I try to only use CASH when I shop, so I don't have any surprises when my credit card bills roll in. They really are for emergency use only. We upped our deductible on car insurance, so the premium would be cheaper. I use coupons whenever possible, but only for products we actually USE. I stock up when certain items go on sale. I try to streamline my outfits so I can mix/match dressier pieces. I have a few pair of heels that go with EVERYTHING. The same with purses. A few good coach bags are better than buying 2 dozen cheaper ones. Always remember Basic Black. You can go anywhere with that! gl!
