My car was up for its first MOT, I went to my local Mr Clutch in Southampton. I have used them for the past few years with my previous car.
I had new break disks and pads fitted at the front of my car. I have left the car with the dealer from 8.30am till 15.00 the same day.
I have returned to find that there is massive (over 1.5 foot long) damage to my bumper. I called them straight out, and was told they have no responsibility for cars parked in their car-park while waiting to be worked on.
They have tried to tell me it was not a car that had done the damage (I have shown the police and they said it had clearly been done by another vehicle) but it was not on the highway so they cannot help me.
Also I rang the very next day to say it have a problem with my breaks (I rang Vauxhall as well they said sounds like they need bleeding) but Mr Clutch have said there is no need to bleed breaks when just changing disks and pads and that Vauxhall are talking out of their behinds.
I then told him that Vauxhall advise me to be careful as I have had new breaks and disks added to my car and they need bedding in for a few miles and that the garage should have told me this before leaving. The guy at Mr Clutch just laughed at me and said "I bet you think you are funny, when you by a new car you don't have to drive carefully because it has a new clutch or breaks in it" he went on to say "this is stupid I think you are trying it on"

They have been very aggressive me and told me to be on my way. How can this garage work if customers have to leave their cars there at their own risk, and if you have breaks replace there and there is a problem why won't they fix it? I am now unable to drive my car as I could be at risk of failing breaks and the garage just shuts me down no matter what I say.

He spoke to the rest of the staff they all denied it and backed him up; he made a few calls and said nope nothing happened here you should speak to your insurance company and if you don't mind I'm trying to run a business here.
