Shatkriya, also known as Shatkarma, refers to the six ancient cleansing techniques in yoga that are designed to purify the body and prepare it for deeper spiritual practices. These practices include Neti (nasal cleansing), Dhauti (digestive tract cleansing), Nauli (abdominal churning), Basti (colon cleansing), Kapalabhati (skull-shining breath), and Trataka (concentrated gazing).
